President Barack Obama celebrated his birthday Thursday, he is now 50 years old!

That historic morning as usual he worked in the Oval Office, then in the afternoon he attended a party given by his staff. Obama and his family - including the first lady, Michelle (47) and their daughters, Malia (13) and Sasha (10) - also attended a private party with their friends on Thursday night.

Earlier, on Wednesday, Obama aides treat the so-called pre-birthday event burgers and fries on Capitol Hill. Not long after, he flew to Chicago for a fund-raiser for the campaign.

The official City of Los Angeles, United States (U.S.), has been sacked a police traffic (traffic cop) due to perform in a pornographic film. The issues, it appears using a traffic policeman in full uniform.

According to Executive Director of the Public Service Commission of Los Angeles Bruce Whidden, traffic policeman was fired earlier this week.

Whidden said the traffic policeman who know named John Dancler fired for abusing the profession as well as his uniform. Dancler considered guilty for committing obscene acts that adversely impact its unity.

Powerful bomb rocked downtown Oslo, the capital of Norway, on Friday (07/22/2011), at 16.30 local time (20:30 pm). So far, two people were reported killed in bomb blasts, allegedly addressed to the Norwegian Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg’s.

The bomb exploded at the main government complex building in Oslo. Thick smoke billowed from the office complex, while the broken glass and debris littered the streets. CNN reported, residents in downtown Oslo immediately evacuated following the blast.

Reuters correspondent reported seeing eight people were wounded in the street. One person in a state covered with blankets, and looks dead. Norway’s NRK radio reported that at least two people were killed in the blast. Meanwhile, news agency NTB said Prime Minister Stoltenberg survived because it was not at his office in the building.

Hina Rabbani Khar is the first woman sworn into Pakistan’s foreign minister on Tuesday (19/07/2011), ending a five-month vacancy for a week before crucial peace talks in India. Khar 34-year-old became the youngest minister in the cabinet. He is scheduled to meet with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United States Hillary Clinton on the sidelines of the ASEAN regional forum (ARF) in Indonesia this weekend.

“On the advice of Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani, Pakistan’s President has decided to appoint Hina Rabbani Khar as the federal minister for foreign affairs,” said Foreign Ministry.

“Khar is Pakistan’s first foreign minister from among the female and the youngest.” Although Benazir Bhutto, who was murdered-ever two-time prime minister, senior government positions usually held by men.

Germany will reduce its troop levels in Afghanistan, about 500 personnel than 4,800 army personnel are now, by the end of this year. The statement the German armed forces chief of staff, in an interview to be broadcast Sunday.

Volker Wieker, inspector general of the Bundeswehr, said on Deutschlandfunk radio that Germany expects to reduce the contingent with about the same number of troops.

“That framework will be considered,” said Wieker, according to an interview excerpts released Saturday.

He said, however, the final amount will depend on how many U.S. troops will withdraw from northern Afghanistan, where German troops stationed.
